Green is an amazing colour found everywhere and is the most common colour attached to nature. Green happens to actually be my favourite colour which is why I did a little research on it to find out its in-depth meaning. There are over 70 shades of green and you can never go wrong with it no matter what you use it for, be it art, decorations, or clothing.
Facts prove that in the presence of green, your pituitary gland is stimulated, your muscles are relaxed and your blood histamine levels increase, which leads to a decrease in allergy symptoms aiding in smoother muscle contractions.
Green has been seen to be calming, stress- relieving and improves reading ability and creativity. It is also associated with vitality, fresh growth and wealth. When green is used to design spaces, it fosters creativity and productivity and when combined with any other colour, it makes it more exciting to look at.
During the course of my research, I found out some amazing things attached to the colour GREEN;
Green is the colour used for night-vision goggles because the human eye is the most sensitive to and able to discern the most shades of that colour.
Green was the favourite colour of George Washington, the first President of the United States of America.
Also, not omitting the fact that green is a colour on the Nigerian flag which stands for agriculture.
Bright green is the colour of the astrological sign "Cancer" which is the Zodiac sign for those born between June 22nd and July 22nd.
Lime green is a fragrance that is refreshing, uplifting and purifying.
