INDEPENDENCE PRAISE-RCCG REDEMPTION HOUSE

Praise is a mandatory thing for us Christians because God has commanded us to do so. The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Redemption House, Surulere celebrated Nigeria's independence on Sunday, 2nd of October, 2016, with an awesome praise service and various dance group presentations.

The event was covered by Channels Television, Silverbird Television and yours truly @savage_omolara in order to give you a load down of what happened at the event.

Ayan Jesu, a musical band from Abeokuta also graced the floor to entertain the congregation with thanksgiving songs which set the praise mood in full swing.

Akwa Ibom/ Cross River Dance Group which dazzled the audience with their completely adorned costume which also won them the award for the best costume.

Bayelsa/ Rivers Dance Group which gave the audience fantastic dance steps which won them the award for the most original routine.

Delta/ Edo Dance Group showed us their traditional attires and dance routines which won them the award for the best theme.

Foreigners Dance Group which proved that Nigeria was a part of them and that is why they performed for Nigeria's independence praise which also won them the award for the best singing.

Hausa Dance Group talked about having peace and unity in Nigeria through dance which won them the award for the most creative routine.

Igbo Dance Group danced their hearts out to prove that theie energy level was very high which won the award for the best thanksgiving offering and also the overall prize.

Yoruba Dance Group incorporated the different age groups from the children to the youths and then the adults which won the award for the best choreography.

Foodstuffs were brought by the different groups in order to give thanks to God for keeping them alive, in peace and in good health.
